We recently sent letters to US customers, and emails to Australian customers, with unclaimed money in their accounts. This article will explain what unclaimed funds are and how to claim yours if you've been notified.
Why are there funds in my account?
You may have unclaimed funds in your account if you made payment for a transfer that was later cancelled.
How do I get my money back?
If your account is active, you can sign in to your account on the Xe website to manage your balance. Please note that you will not be able to view or manage your unclaimed funds in the Xe app. Learn how you can manage your balance.
If your account is closed, or you no longer have access to it, please contact our Care team for help.
Is this a scam?
No, this is not a scam. We appreciate that receiving unexpected letters or emails can be worrying.
Please be assured that this letter is legitimate and sent by Xe to help you claim a balance on your account. If you have concerns, please contact us.
How long do I have to claim these funds?
Please review your letter to confirm what date your claim needs to be completed by.
Any funds remaining in your account after the cut-off date will be reported to the agency listed in your letter, and claims may be filed with them as soon as they are available on their website.
