How does this payment method work?
You create the transfer in our app or on the web and select Wire transfer as your payment method. Once you've confirmed your transfer, you will need to login to your online bank, add Xe Corporation Inc. as a payee on your account and make payment for your transfer.
What reference number should I use?
We provide instructions for making your payment to us in the contract note we email to you. Please use your contract number as a reference. It will look something like this: C12345678.
Why am I paying Xe Corporation Inc. and not Xe?
We may use bank accounts named either Xe, HiFX, Dandelion Payments (formerly Continental Exchange Solutions) or Ria Money Transfer - all of which are owned by Euronet - for transfers.
Don't worry. Your money is safe with all of Euronet’s portfolio of companies and this will not affect your money transfer. You can find out more about this here.
What are the limits for using Bill Payment?
There are no limits with Xe to pay with Bill Payment. However, you might be restricted by daily limits set by your bank.
How long does it take to send money using this method?
Bill Payment transfers are usually sent within one business day.
Are there any charges for using this method?
No, Bill Payment incurs no additional charges.
How can I add this payment method to my Xe account?
Bill Payment requires you to arrange your payment outside of our app and website experience, in much the same way that we require wire transfers to be arranged separately. You need to set up Xe Corporation Inc. as a payee on your online banking.
Can I cancel my Bill Payment transaction?
Depending on the stage that your initial transaction is at, it may or may not be possible for you to cancel this transfer and request a refund.
If you’ve not yet confirmed the transaction, you can simply cancel the process yourself by doing the following:
- In the app: Simply click the cross icon in the top left-hand corner to stop the transfer
- On the website: Click Go back to return to a previous step and edit details, or close the browser window to cancel the transaction entirely
If you’ve confirmed your transfer, it is unlikely we will be able to cancel your transaction.
We purchase your funds at the time of confirmation and once your debit request has been submitted, it cannot be reversed.
