What are the differences between subscription packages?
Subscription packages differ based on rate frequency and volume.
Rate frequency refers to how often exchange rates are updated and made available via the API. Volume is the number of rate requests you can make each month. Each currency pair counts as one rate request (for example, USD-EUR and EUR-USD equal two requests).
There are four subscription packages, each designed to support your specific business needs. As you move through the packages, you gain access to additional rate frequencies and higher monthly volumes. The details for each package are outlined below.

Monthly Volume | 10,000 rate requests | 50,000 rate requests | 150,000 rate requests | Custom |
Please note that historical data for live rates is available for up to 7 days. After that, only hourly historical data is available.
How do you count the number of requests and what happens if I exceed my limit?
Each rate returned from the API counts towards your monthly package limit. For example, converting from CAD to EUR, GBP and USD would count as three requests towards your monthly package limit.
When you're nearing your package limit for the current month, the API will send you an email alert. Emails will be sent once you’ve reached 75%, 90% and 100% of your monthly package allowance.
When you’ve reached your maximum 100% you'll receive an error alert and no rates will be returned.
What methods of payment do you support?
Our primary method of payment is by Credit or Debit Card. For amounts over $1200, we also allow payment by wire transfer.
Can I pay monthly or quarterly instead of annually?
It is possible, in certain circumstances, to pay monthly or quarterly instead of annually provided there's a clear justification for the exception.
Monthly or quarterly payments might be slightly higher than 1/12 or 1/4 of the annual payment due to the extra costs they incur.
