How does this payment method work?
You can pay for your transfer with a debit card on the Xe website. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with a passcode as part of its 3D Secure authentication.
Make sure your billing address matches the address on your Xe account. If they don't match, we may decline the payment.
How long does it take to send money using a debit card?
We receive your payment instantly. We'll send your transfer on its payment date, which is usually the same day or the next business day, depending on the currency and any non-working days for that corridor.
Why was my card payment unsuccessful?
A few things can cause a card payment to fail, including a mismatched billing address, insufficient funds, or your bank declining the payment for its own reasons. Take a look at the most common reasons card payments fail in our guide.
How can I add this method to my Xe account?
You can add your debit card details during the transfer process, and securely store them for future use.
Follow these steps:
- Select your currency, the amount to transfer, and who you're sending money to, then continue to step three.
- On the payment stage, enter your card details. Tick the box to store them for future use if you'd like to.
- Once you've completed a transfer with a saved card, you'll find it under Payment methods.
