Here’s how it works:
- Head to the Xe app or website to copy and share your promo code with friends and family
- They enter the promo code when they make their first money transfer with Xe
- Once they’ve sent $/€/£ 5000 (or currency equivalent) or more, you’ll both receive a $/€/£ 50 gift card by email
Who can take part in the refer a friend programme?
Customers in the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and some countries in Europe* can refer friends and earn rewards.
Which currencies can I transfer to qualify?
You can transfer Canadian dollars, US dollars, Australian dollars, New Zealand dollars, Euros or British pounds to any other currency.
Where can I find my referral code?
You'll find your promo code in the Xe app or website. Just log in and click the gift icon to copy your code and share it with friends!
What reward will we receive?
You’ll both receive a $/€/£ 50 gift card by email. You can use the gift card at different retailers – the choice is yours!
Does my friend need to send $/€/£ 5000 in one go?
No - your friend can make multiple transfers totaling $/€/£ 5000.
Your friend only needs to enter the promo code once when they make their first transfer. We'll then link the promo code they enter to the person who referred them and, as soon as they complete transfers totalling $/€/£ 5000, you'll both receive your reward.
When will we receive our reward?
Within 14 working days of your friend making a qualifying transfer. We’ll email you when you or your referee has qualified so that you can know when to expect your reward.
How do I claim my reward?
You’ll receive your reward by email. Just click the link and choose the retailer you’d like to use your reward with.

The first thing to do is to check your spam / junk folder.
If your gift card’s not there, please contact us sharing:
- Your name and email address
- Your friend's name and email address
- The date your friend made the qualifying transfer

Unfortunately, you won't qualify for a reward if your friend doesn't enter your referral code when they make their first transfer.
I used to share a referral link, what will happen to this?
Your referral code replaces the link so you won’t need it anymore.
