Follow the steps below to configure a vendor for use with Xe in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
Watch the process or follow these steps:
- In your Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O instance, go to modules
- In Modules, choose Accounts payable
- Click All vendors
- Choose the vendor you like to set up for Xe payments
- Select the Industry category from the drop down menu
- Select the Industry from the drop down menu
- Choose the default Purpose of payment
- If the Purpose of payment is 'Others', enter the Purpose of payment text
- In the Addresses section, click Edit and complete the required address fields
- In the Contact information section, click Add
- Choose Type and enter the contact's email address
- In the Payment section, make sure that the Method of payment is set as Xe
- Now choose Bank accounts from the Set up section at the top of the page
- In General update the bank account information (e.g. the vendor's bank account number, routing number, IBAN, as applicable for your vendor)
- Click Save
