Things to know about cancellations:
- If your money has been sent to your recipient, we won’t be able to cancel your transfer.
- If you sent money to the wrong recipient, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll speak to our banking partner and ask them to return the money. This is called a recall request.
- If you know the recipient, you might want to contact them and ask them to return the money to you, but only if you feel safe doing so.
Information about recall requests
We rely on the recipient's bank when making a recall request. We can't guarantee that the payment will be returned as they need the recipient's permission to give us a direct debit authorisation. Only if we get this can we reclaim the funds.
Recalls can take a long time to be completed. Unfortunately, we can't give you an idea of how long your recall may take. |
