We can help you transfer in 139 currencies. To ensure that we can help you, please speak with your account manager regarding any currencies you need to send.
What rate of exchange will I get?
Our exchange rates are linked to the live foreign exchange markets.
When the markets are open, the exchange rate you are offered will often fluctuate until the moment you confirm your transaction.
Through SmartFX, you will have 60 seconds to confirm the quote on the screen and the exchange rate is only fixed once you’ve confirmed your transaction.
When can I make an international money transfer?
You can make international payments through SmartFX 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Does the exchange rate automatically reconcile with Sage Intacct?
Yes, one of the key benefits to SmartFX is that it automatically posts the exchange rate back to the general ledger for reconciliation purposes.
How can I access payment reports?
Your Xe account manager will be able to provide detailed payment reports on a timely basis.
How to pay for your transfer
How do we settle the transaction?
Transactions can be settled by bank transfer, ACH (direct debit) from a local USD account or Pre-Authorised Debit from a local Canadian account.
If paying by bank transfer you will need to instruct your bank to make the payment to us via online banking or telephone banking.
Where can I find your bank details?
These will be provided to you once you have confirmed your transaction.
We must receive the full amount as cleared funds by the agreed payment date to enable us to send your money transfer on time.
How to track your transfer
When will Xe make our payments?
The majority of our transfers are completed the same day. We will confirm a payment date to you within your transaction flow and this will be the earliest date we can make your money transfer providing we have received your payment.
How will we know the payment has been sent?
We will automatically notify you via email or text message. You should always allow 1-4 working days for the payment to arrive with your recipient.
The status within Sage Intacct will also automatically be updated.
