To help keep our rates competitive, some of our bank transfers are subject to a small fee.
Don't worry - this isn't a hidden or surprise fee.
The table below should help you identify the minimum amount to transfer without facing this fee.

Third-party bank fees
We always send the exact amount you ask us to when you confirm your money transfer.
Sometimes the recipient’s bank or an intermediary can add a fee which is then deducted from the amount received by your recipient.
We have no control over this and they don't warn us in advance. Click here for more information about these fees.

Payment method fees
Some methods of paying us are can also be subject to a fee, either by Xe, your bank or credit card provider.

Otherwise, we've listed below the fees you may encounter while paying us for your transfer.
Your card issuer may charge a cash advance fee of up to 5%, and start charging interest from the point of purchase. If this is the case, you will be liable for this charge.
Users in some regions will be also be charged a small fee for using a credit card, which will be a percentage of the total amount being sent. Full details can be found in our help article.
For example, for US customers, there’s a flat charge of 2.99% of the amount you’re sending. So if you’re sending $500, you’ll be charged 2.99% of that amount.
It is free to use a debit card to pay for your transfer in the UK and Europe.
If you live outside of these regions, you'll be charged a small fee for using a debit card, which will be a percentage of the total amount being sent. Full details can be found in our help article.
Bank or wire transfer
Xe will not charge to receive funds via bank transfer.
Some banks may impose charges on these transfers. Typically, banks in the US and Canada charge between $15 and $30 to make a wire transfer.
It’s typically a free service, but this is at the discretion of the customer's bank.
